Sherman Hillelson has been a business broker in Philadelphia and consultant for more
than 25 years. During this time he has helped his loyal customer base of small business
owners buy and sell hundreds of businesses, in various industries and of various
sizes. The types of businesses he has transacted upon are represented from traditional
mom & pop retail outlets to international franchises to multi-million dollar manufacturing
and distribution companies. Chances are if it is a business that is for sale in the
Delaware Valley, Sherman knows about it.
As a consultant, Sherman has helped entrepreneurs in many areas including obtaining
financing, negotiating leases, and aiding legal and transitional issues associated
with small business. During his free time Sherman enjoys spending time with his
family especially, his granddaughter Chloe. Sherman received a degree in Business
Marketing from the University of Cincinnati.
Sean Farhy has more than 15 years experience in the financial services business,
working for several large institutions such as Morgan Stanley and also on the Philadelphia
Stock Exchange. During his tenure he had performed equity analysis, led marketing
campaign, and consulted for small businesses, trusts, and charitable entities.
Prior to working at Hillelson Business Services, he was the Senior Strategic Analyst
for a well respected hedge fund and asset manager. While at the hedge fund he wrote
several articles for SeekingAlpha.com and was interviewed on Canada’s BNN. In his
free time, Sean is active in fundraising for the Philadelphia branch of The JDRF
(Juvenile Diabetes Research Fund). Sean loves fishing, playing poker, watching the
Phillies, and most of all spending time with his son Jackson. Sean received his
Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Delaware in 1996 and Master’s in Business
Administration (MBA) from Drexel University in 2007.
